Today I'm taking myself out on a ___.

Honestly, I haven't gone ___ for a while because sometimes I just don't see the point in going out alone, but I think going on a solo date is a good way to reconnect with yourself and learn how to be happy in your own company.

A ___ can be anything, whether that's trying something new or doing something you know you love to do.

For me, I love to go to my favorite ___, walk around town, and treat myself to a nice meal.

Sometimes it does get ___ living without any friends, especially when I see groups of people hanging out together and having fun, but when I really think about it, being alone is true freedom.

I can still do everything I want by myself, and I don't have to consider other people's schedules or when they have time to hang out. I don't have to consider what the other person wants to do. I can just do anything I want without hesitation, and most importantly, I don't have to feel scared of doing things alone. When I was in high school, I never even once ate at the cafeteria because I was so scared and I didn't know how to do it and there was nobody there to go with me to get food. So a lot of the times, I didn't ever eat at school or I just brought something I could find from home. Now when I think back on that time, I feel like I was being kind of silly because there's no need to feel scared of doing things alone and there's no need to feel embarrassed or ashamed if I don't have anyone to hang out with or do things with because in the end, thinking this way can only hurt me and hold me back from enjoying life to the fullest. I already spend most of my time alone anyway, but most of that time is me working or trying to be as productive as possible and get so many things done. But I rarely have days where I can just relax and do whatever I want to do. So this has been a really good experience for me. Honestly, even just walking around in the bookstore already made me feel super happy.
